Q + A
What airport should we fly into?
There are two popular options:
Naples-Capodichino International Airport is the international airport serving Naples and the Southern Italian region of Campania. Most large cities should offer direct flights.
Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport is an international airport in Fiumicino, Italy, serving Rome. From Rome Fiumicino Airport to Naples: Take the Leonardo Express train (non-stop) from Fiumicino to Roma Termini (Rome's central station) – ~32 minutes. From Roma Termini, take a high-speed train (Frecciarossa, Italo, or Frecciabianca) to Naples Centrale – ~1 to 1.5 hours (it's a beautiful ride!)
How do we get from Naples to Sorrento?
Option A: Take the Circumvesuviana train from Napoli Garibaldi (located inside Naples Centrale) to Sorrento – 1-1.5 hours.
Option B: Private transfer or taxi
Option C: Take a ferry from Naples’ port (Molo Beverello) to Sorrento – ~40 minutes. This is the most popular form of transportation!
How will guests travel to the wedding events?
We have arranged bus transfers to conveniently transport guests between designated pickup points in Sorrento City Centre, the welcome dinner, and the wedding venue.
When should we plan to arrive?
Since you’ll need to transfer from Rome or Naples to Sorrento, we recommend departing from the U.S. on Thursday, August 28th, and arriving in Italy on Friday. This will give you a full day to travel to Sorrento and get settled before our first wedding event on Saturday, August 30th.
